Our accommodation

We currently have three chambre d'hotes rooms in the main house. All accommodation is decorated in an eclectic and vintage style.

Our accommodation is equipped with electric heaters, fans, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi access,  hairdryer, electric adaptors and there are also ironing facilities, alarm clock/radio and a cd/dvd player (on request) with a range of dvds to borrow. Each room has an information folder and there is a selection of tourist information leaflets, folders, books and suggestions for restaurants in the downstairs entrance hall.

The shower rooms are equipped with towels and basic toiletries.

Please note - None of the rooms have televisions

The Panelled room 

This room consists of a small lobby, shower room and the main bedroom. It is a lovely large room with a view over the meadow to the front. It has a fireplace and one wall has old farmhouse wooden paneling. It can be set up as a King size (180cm x 190cm) or a twin room (90cm x 190cm) (please stipulate your preferred option when booking) or it can be booked as a single room (10% reduction for single occupancy).

The loft and La Niche Priout

The Loft and La Niche Priout are situated above The Panelled room. 
La niche Priout is a small extra space on the landing above The Panelled room offering a single bed and clothes storage with a roof window overlooking the back of the house. 
 The Loft is a wonderfully romantic room with high ceilings and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside from the dormer window. This room is a family and friends room and can be booked as a king size or twin room It shares a shower room (on the floor below) with The Panelled room and so the two rooms can only be booked in conjunction with each other.

These rooms are accessible by a staircase from the lobby of The Panelled room.
NB The staircase is not recommended for very tall people, very young children or those with reduced mobility.

The Retro Room

This room consists of a corridor, bedroom and shower room. It is a lovely large room with two windows overlooking the front garden and meadow. It is furnished with a nod to the 1930's and has elements of previous docorations used included in it's decor.  It can be set up as a King size (180cm x 190cm) or a twin room (90cm x 190cm) (please stipulate your preferred option when booking) or it can be booked as a single room (10% reduction for single occupancy).

The Little Loft

This room is a loft room situated above The Retro Room. It is a small double room (140cm x 190cm) but it is very cosy and full of character with exposed beams, sloping ceilings and a dormer window with wonderful views across the countryside. It shares a shower room (on the floor below) with The Retro room and so the two rooms can only be booked in conjunction with each other as a friends and family room.

NB The staircase to The Little Loft is quite steep and so will not suit someone with mobility issues.

Notes and extra information

Arrival and departure

Usual arrival is between 4pm and 8pm, but if this is not possible please inform us in advance of what time you would like to arrive between 1pm and midnight and we will do our best to accommodate you, but please be aware that if you arrive very early or late, a welcome drink might not be available and your room might not be fully ready.
If you arrive before 4pm or after midnight without making arrangements with us in advance, we reserve the right to charge a one of payment of up to 50€ in extreme circumstances.
Please be sure to vacate your accommodation on the day of departure by 11am at the latest.

We have enough parking for one standard car for each room. If you have a bigger vehicle or more than one vehicle, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We have secure parking for both motorbikes and bicycles.

General information

Each of our chambre D'hotes rooms is registered for a specific number of people and we cannot exceed this number.

We cannot allow guests to sleep in vehicles in the car park as this would constitute camping, which we are not registered for.

We cannot be responsible for personal items which are left in communal areas.

All of our beds are 190cm long, we do not provide extra long beds.

For the safety of your children, please don't leave small children on the premises alone.

If you have specific physical needs, please inform us at the time of booking so that we can make any necessary allowances or advice you as to the suitability of our accommodation for your needs.

All meals are prepared freshly and to order. So once a meal has been prepared, it must be paid for. 

Please tell us at the time of booking if you have any food allergies or specific dietary needs and we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot do this unless we are informed before the day of your arrival.

Please note that some of our doorways are very low

Smoking is illegal and strictly prohibited anywhere in the house. If you decide to smoke, you might be asked to vacate your room and leave the premises.

If a booking is made by a third party, we will need the names of contact details of the guests staying in order to secure the booking. Payment of a bill to a third party is not considered payment to us - the amount payable will not be altered by payment to a third party unless it is through a booking agency that we use.
